Aurora Retirement Residence

The site is located just south of Wellington Street on Yonge Street in Downtown Aurora, on the Aurora United Church lands. The site is a corner site fronting Yonge Street, Tyler Street, and Temperance Street. The Site is well known in the community due to the United Church. The site features great drive-by traffic visibility and is within close proximity to commercial and public amenities.

This project is an exciting re-development for the Aurora United Church. The Aurora United Church will be rebuilt on the southeast portion of the site, and the proposed retirement home will be an L-shaped building constructed around the church with entrances from Tyler Street and Temperance Street. The two structures will be standalone. The retirement home will be six storeys, with approximately 150 units. The building will contain grade and underground parking for both the retirement home and the Church. The site will contain walking paths between the retirement home development, the adjacent Church, and Yonge Street.
