The site is located in the prestigious neighbourhood of the Glebe, at the North/West Corner of Bank Street on the East, Monk Street to the West, and Thornton Street to the North. The site is comprised of 890 -900 Bank Street and is a corner site with access to the West on Monk Street and to the North on Thornton Avenue. The Site features great visibility, is on a main commercial street, and is within close proximity to commercial and public amenities. It is located close to Landsdown Park, which was a recent major redevelopment project for the City of Ottawa.

This development project is a unique mixed-use urban project. The retirement home will contain two heights, ranging from four to nine storeys, with approximately 160 units. The main entrance and lobby will front on Monk Street. Separate ground floor retail space within the building will front on Bank Street. The building will contain underground parking for both the retirement home and the retail. The site will contain walking paths between the retirement home development, Bank Street, and the retail units.
